Common questions about truck rentals and moving
Truck size depends on your move: 10' for studio/1BR, 15'-17' for 2BR, 20'-26' for 3BR+. Our staff can help you choose based on your specific needs. When in doubt, go bigger - it's better than being short on space.
All rentals include the truck, basic insurance coverage, and 24/7 roadside assistance. You can add moving supplies like boxes, tape, and blankets. Some packages include dollies and hand trucks. Fuel is your responsibility.
We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance, especially during peak moving season (May-September). Last-minute rentals are available but may have limited availability. Weekday rentals are generally easier to get than weekend rentals.
For trucks up to 26', you only need a standard driver's license. Larger trucks may require a commercial driver's license (CDL). We'll verify your license when you pick up the truck and can advise you on requirements.
